Panch Pokhari Trail Race 2017 'Run together'

Official Title: 1st Panch Pokhari Trail Race 2017 ‘’run together’’

Panch Pokhari Trail Race 2017’, organized for the first time in Nepal, (on Nepali cultural and religious day Janai Purnima), will be a 24 kilometer half marathon race from Panch Pokhari to Thangpal Raithanepokhari of Sindhupalchok district.

When it comes to competition or something aside from the daily activities, participants usually get much excited, as they will know about the specialty of this place. Such competition provides people more time to be with nature and to interact with different people. Janai Purnima is the day of great importance here during which huge numbers of devotees visit in traditional dresses.

PanchPokhari is not only naturally beautiful it is also the ninth highest-altitude wetland in the world. Every year, approximately ten thousand people visit the place.

This time “Global Inclusive Adventure Organization” & “Dukhang PanchPokhari Maanam Youth Club” is going to provide all those devotees with different opportunity to participate in this adventurous race competition. The Trail Race starts from Panchpokhari and ends at Thangpal Raithanepokhari. The route of the race is PanchPokhari- Nosyampati-TanuKharka-Bhotang-Thangpalkot Raithanepokhari.

The first Panch Pokhari Trail Race is a one-day event to be held on 7th August 2017 and approximately 300 participants from all over Nepal are expected to join this enjoyable & adventurous event.

All the participants will hold a unique chest number and the winners from 1st to 5th in both male and female categories will receive cash prize and certificate.

Start Date/Time: Shrawan 23, 2074 (7th August 2017)  08:00 AM

End Date/Time: 7th August 2017/ 03:00 PM

Route: PanchPokhari - Nosyampati - Tanku Kharka - Bhotang - Thangpal Raithanepokhari.

Registration Fee:  NPR 1,000 (including T-shirt & lunch for 1 day)


  • 1st - NPR 25,000
  • 2nd - NPR 20,000
  • 3rd - NPR 15,000
  • 4th - NPR 10,000
  • 5th - NPR 5,000

with Medal and Certificate

Closing Ceremony:  Thangpalkot, Raithanepokhari
