The HYC aims to preserve the indigenous Tharu culture, and facilitate the creation of a Tharu Cultural Museum and Reference Center. The Cultural Museum and Reference Centre will be a vehicle for the Chitwan Tharus to express their traditions, values, and identity, and will ensure that their cultural identity will be preserved for future generations.
